Product details
The Victron Energy BMV-700 Battery Monitor is a high-precision tool that gives you complete insight into your battery system. It continuously tracks voltage, current, power, ampere-hours consumed, and state of charge (SoC). It calculates “time to go” at current discharge rates, and alerts you with programmable visual and audible alarms when voltage or SoC thresholds are crossed.
Bundled with a 500 A / 50 mV shunt and all necessary cabling, the BMV-700 is ready to install out of the box. It’s ideal for off-grid systems, solar installations, boats, RVs, backup power systems, and any configuration where knowing your battery status precisely is critical.
Key Features:
- Tracks battery voltage, current, power, amp-hours used, and state of charge
- Displays time remaining at current discharge rate (“time to go”)
- Programmable visual and audible alarms for over/under voltage, SoC thresholds, and more
- Integrated relay output (normally open 60 V / 1 A) – can control loads or start generators
- Uses a 500 A / 50 mV quick-connect shunt (included) and supports customization with larger shunts (up to 9999 A)
- VE.Direct communication port for integration with Victron GX devices or monitoring systems
- Low standby power draw: < 4 mA (backlight off)
- Wide input voltage range: 6.5 V to 95 V DC
- High resolution and accuracy: 0.01 A current, 0.01 V voltage, ±0.1 Ah, ±0.1% SoC
Technical Specifications:
- Supply voltage range: 6.5 V to 95 V DC
