The Pentax IPFC-318, also known as the Vasco 418 Solar Pump Inverter, is an intelligent solar-powered variable frequency drive (VFD) designed to operate and protect three-phase water pumps using photovoltaic solar energy. With a capacity of 7.5kW (10HP) and 18A output current, the inverter automatically adjusts pump speed according to available solar power, maximizing water production while reducing energy consumption and mechanical wear.
Engineered for borehole pumps, irrigation systems, livestock watering, water storage projects, and off-grid water supply installations, the IPFC-318 converts DC power from solar panels into three-phase AC power for pump operation.
