It is designed to create convenient permanent access to lofts, roof spaces and attic storage without leaving a portable ladder in the room, and is suitable for homes, offices, shops and light commercial premises with ceiling heights up to 2.8m and an appropriate structural opening. The ladder folds into the ceiling opening when not in use to preserve usable floor space.
