The Batmatic 170kg Heavy-Duty Forward Plate Compactor – CPDL17 is a diesel-powered vibratory compactor driven by a Kohler/Lombardini 15LD225 single-cylinder air-cooled engine producing 3.5kW (4.7HP), with a 550 × 700mm plate, 20kN centrifugal force and a compaction depth of 30 to 40cm. It is suited to compacting foundations, basement subsoil, sand, gravel, paving bases, porphyry and interlocking-tile flooring. Its heavier construction, wider plate and stronger centrifugal force make it appropriate for professional contractors handling deeper or more demanding compaction work than lighter forward plate machines.
